Road safety 27 May

Today, Jude, from Auckland Transport, came to talk to us about car seats and how important it is that you use the correct one. You must be in a car seat until you are 7 years old but they recommend you are in one until you are 148cm. That means that some 10 year olds should really still be in seats.

St John - 26 May

On Thursday we had a visit from Mac from St John. He brought in his little ambulance called Amby and talked to us about who you need to call in different emergencies. He also showed us a stethoscope, an oxygen tank and how to bandage up an injury.

Rhythm Interactive 11 May


We had a great time with Johnny today playing bongo drums...

Johnny taught us how to do the bongos and it was awesome. He even taught us patterns "I love drums very very much" was one pattern.

This morning we went into the hall. We played the bongo drums. Boom boom boom!!!

Boom boom boom! This morning Room 18 went to the hall to see Johnny. He plays the drums. We did too. It was outstanding.

This morning we played with the bongos in the hall. It was very fun because we each had a drum.

In the morning we went to the hall. We played the drums. Johnny was excellent at the bongos. He taught us how to do this "I like it very very much." It was brilliant. My favourite part about it was the bongos.

This morning Year 1 and 2 classes went into the hall to play the bongos with Johnny. It was amazing. He did a pattern and we followed it.

This morning Room 18 went to the hall and it went Boom! Boom! Boom! Johnny showed us amazing things with the bongos.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! This morning Room 18 saw Johnny in the hall to learn how to play the bongos. I was happy because I can play the bongos now. We made music. It was fun because I never played the bongos before. I got a massive headache. I loved Johnny and Wilson. Johnny was very funny!
