Welcome to Term 3,

Multiple Learning Conversations have been a great success.  Children did a great job!  Many have said that it made them feel proud to spend time at school with their mum and dad, sharing their learning and games.
Children have settled quickly.
Notices for our Rangitoto Team trip to MOTAT on 10th August have been  sent home and parent help have been notified.  Please sign permission slips and return to school as soon as possible.

Learning in Rangitoto Team for Term 3
This term, the big idea behind all our learning is “How Do Simple Machines Help Us” and “How could we make Pirate’s lives easier onboard”.  All areas of learning are planned to children at their individual ability.  To do this more efficiently, children who are at similar levels, are grouped together.  This method allows teachers to spend time with individuals and small groups, providing more focused teaching on children’s needs.

Appropriate for child’s level) fractions,  Measurement
