Today we talked about the Sky Tower and how it is a stable and strong structure. We talked about what makes it like this.
We were then given the task of making our own towers, using different materials. We had to try and make them stable and strong like the Sky Tower. We had to work in teams.
First we had to plan our ideas and share them with each other. Then we had to decide which plan would be the best.
We had lego as our materials.
We had a pillow and iceblock sticks as our materials.
We had playdough and sticks as our materials.
We had paper as our materials and we had to make a paper flower stand up.
We were allowed 1-2 other materials which we had to choose.
We had paper as our materials and had to make a paper man stand up. We were allowed 1-2 other materials which we had to choose.
We had playdough as our materials.
Another group had wooden blocks as their materials.
Finally we could start making our towers!
